Carter Battista, DO: Pain Specialist in Lancaster, East Columbus and Reynoldsburg

Dr. Carter Battista is a board-certified anesthesiologist with a board certification subspecialty in pain management. His expertise is in advanced interventional pain procedures including: minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD), spinal cord stimulation (SCS) and peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS).
After graduating from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed his internship at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Battista completed his Anesthesiology Residency at Wayne State University, where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident. He went on to complete a pain medicine fellowship at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Battista joined Precision Pain Care in June of 2021.
Dr. Battista believes in a multidisciplinary approach to pain management with a focus on non-surgical and minimally invasive techniques. Using leading-edge technology and evidence-based treatment modalities, he performs epidural injections, radiofrequency nerve ablations, peripheral joint injections, sympathetic blocks, as well as neuromodulation, including spinal cord stimulation for refractory pain. Dr. Battista strives to deliver personalized care with the goal of improving daily functioning and quality of life for his patients.
Dr. Battista lives in Hilliard, Ohio with his wife and twin boys. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, grilling and traveling.
